Just 24 little hours and my whole outlook and attitude is different 🙂

I woke up this morning (don’t worry I’m not writing another blues song) and I had a real spring in my step and a positivity in my thought and speech.
I couldn’t wait to go to the gym and ‘get my sweat on’ and I was looking forward to the day ahead! The session was goooooood!!!! An hour on the treadmill and an hour on the bike, all at my THR and when I say I got my sweat on, I mean I got my sweat on!! I know I’ve said it before, but, it’s worth saying again, with regard to weight loss, for me, a good sweat, is a great sign that I’m ‘doing the business’ and I’m shedding the pounds. I don’t know that that is a scientific fact, in fact, I’m pretty sure I could find articles saying it is and it isn’t, but, I don’t care, I get a sense and a feeling that this simple equation is true, more sweat = less pounds – Nuff said! Plus, dropping 70lbs over the past three months is good enough for me, not that weight loss is my focus you understand 😉
I didn’t apply for any jobs 😦 but, I was a semi good house husband and did some chores. I’m pretty sure Jan (my supremely much better other half) would say different, but, she is entitled to do so as she is consistently fantastic and never ceases to amaze me. Tomorrow I plan to be even better!
I know I thanked you guys yesterday for your support via comments here and on fb, but, I would, if you don’t mind, like to give a liddle extra shout out to a couple or three people who only usually comment on fb.
Dave H and Dale are the owner and manager respectively of Smiths Restaurant in the fair city of Manchester here in the UK. In a former life, I used to sing at Smiths and both these guys are two of the nicest people you would ever care to meet. Dave W is one of the UK’s finest drummers and former band mate from that former life.
Since I’ve been on my ‘healthier’ lifestyle journey, these guys have followed my progress closely, the ups, downs and occasional nature poohs. There comments on fb always bring a smile to my face and they are a constant source of encouragement to continue. I know with all my heart they are really routing for me. I feel honoured to call them friends and I really thank them for their continued support.
These next few sentences are of the utmost importance. If you ever find yourself in the Manchester area, YOU MUST, sorry to shout, but, YOU MUST, go to Smiths for a meal. Say Paul sent you and have the Cream of Fish & Seafood Soup as a starter. It is not an option, it’s a must!
Short post, but, good vibes.
